About me
Helping churches talk about money is my superpower. For my doctoral research on Christian giving, I toured church basements in five provinces, listening to testimonies of how people learned to be generous. I also crunch giving numbers at both local and denominational levels. My degrees are in Statistics, Theology and Ministry: all useful as a lifer in the church and charitable sector.
My book Growing a Generous Church: A Year in the Life of Peach Blossom Church results from my research and experience in fundraising and theology.
In addition to teaching stewardship to churches, I belong to an interfaith (Jewish, Christian, Muslim) trio of fundraisers who explain faith to fundraisers at national and international conferences.
